Michelle Williams bought this four-story brownstone in the Boerum Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn about 10 years ago with then-boyfriend Heath Ledger. She continued to live there with their daughter Matilda after his death in 2008 but is now selling it for $7.5 million. Take a look….
According to Zillow, “The 4-story home is 22 feet wide and has a 3-car garage and a rooftop garden with a waterfall. The 6-bedroom, 4.5-bathrooms home’s 1,000-square-foot parlor includes built-in surround sound with double turntables, a wood-burning fireplace and 12-foot ceilings.”
In an interview, Williams once said, “This is a lived-in house. There are seven people living here at the moment. I couldn’t live here alone.”
The wide-planked wood floors are one of my favorite things about the house. Beautiful.
The NY Daily News reports, “Williams, 34, and Ledger paid $3.6 million for the pad in 2005 and soon became neighborhood fixtures, putting Boerum Hill firmly on the map of Brooklyn’s rebirth. They were regularly seen walking around in the neighborhood, eating at local restaurants and watching the world go by from their front steps.”
I love how simple and unpretentious the kitchen looks. Wish we could see more photos of it!
