Cruden Homes has commenced delivery of 55 homes at Toryglen on Glasgow’s south side, a £6m development being delivered in tandem with 100 properties for Glasgow Housing Association. A demolition programme is currently underway in the area to clear all multi-storey and flatted properties to make way for lower density infill at 40 dwellings per hectare. King’s View has been designed by Hypostyle Architects and forms part of a wider regeneration package for the area around Prospecthill Circus, which has been identified as one of eight Transformational Regeneration Areas in the city and follows on from the delivery of new homes at Laurieston. It will include a mixture of two storey semi-detached and terraced houses alongside three and four storey blocks of flats. John Gallacher of Cruden Homes said: “We are very excited about this latest development and having the opportunity to create a brand new vibrant community on the edge of Glasgow’s King’s Park.”
