Window shopping is a regular activity for me; I live in a bustling part of the city and there are endless shops, cafes and public spaces to explore that are filled to the brim with inspiration. I made my treasure hunt both a physical and virtual one, snapping shots of some of my favorite local spots and curating images on Pinterest.

You can follow along with me on Instagram as I snap what inspires me and post progress shots of the cure. Here are a few of my favorite images from my day of window shopping.

Unsurprisingly, I found myself drawn to creative displays, objects with a patina, texture and plants. I love plants. I think I may have been a botanist in a past life.

I love Pinterest for honing an aesthetic and creating a vision for a space. I was drawn to curated spaces with texture, beautiful finishes, touches of shine with warm metallics and an overall feeling of lightness.
