Name: Amélie
Location: Brussels, Belgium
I was born in Brussels from French parents but was lucky to grow up in different countries and to discover new cultures. My childhood and teenage years were spent in the sunshine of Morocco and Cyprus, while I became more and more curious about art in New York. Seeking my roots, I studied communication and advertising in the City of Light: Paris; where I also started my first job as a communication officer in an art gallery.
After several years in the art world, my thirst for travelling took over and I decided to move to Rio de Janeiro, where I enjoyed the Carioca way of life for a couple of years. Back in Brussels, I am now working in development and cooperation, enjoying the international atmosphere and quality of life this city has to offer.
My flat is inspired by all the places where I lived and traveled with a touch of retro and second hand furniture. Each object has a story, a memory of a specific time and place. It’s an enjoyable and cozy place, until the next move…
Thanks, Amélie!
