The Renovation Diaries are a collaboration with our community in which we feature your step by step renovation progress and provide monetary support towards getting it done in style. I know technically furniture is not part of a renovation but the right size furniture in the right nook can make the space so much more efficient. If you haven’t already, check out the other posts in the series to get caught up — and stay tuned for the Big Reveal. It turned out a bit bigger and higher than what I had wanted, but with the fire code there’s not much choice. They fit into the spaces perfectly and the price is more than reasonable. After much furniture shopping and not much luck, I was connected with an architect who turned furniture maker. As our workers finish up final touches in the kitchen this week, we have started to move some furniture in.
